Manage Maximo incidents from Ivanti Automation.

Ivanti Identity Director uses existing automation functionality in Ivanti Automation to make it possible for users to create, close, update and query service requests in IBM Maximo. IBM Maximo is a software platform that supports IT service management and automates common business processes.

The key benefits of the Add-on are:

  • Simplify user-interaction with IBM Maximo – Service Management through a single point of interaction: the Ivanti Identity Director web portal.
  • Reduce service desk load. End users can submit new service requests, and query, update and close their open service requests from the Ivanti Identity Director web portal.

Use Cases

Use Case 1: Create a new service request in IBM Maximo

This Ivanti Identity Director service enables a user to create a new service request in IBM Maximo and to provide input for the summary of the service request, details of the service request and its priority. When the service request is successfully created, the service request number is sent to the user via the Ivanti Identity Director web portal and/or e-mail.

Use Case 2: Query open service requests in IBM Maximo

This Ivanti Identity Director service enables a user to obtain a list of the current open service requests which is sent to the user via the Ivanti Identity Director web portal and/or e-mail.

Use Case 3: Update service request in IBM Maximo

This Ivanti Identity Director service enables a user to update a service request in IBM Maximo and to change the summary of the service request, details of the service request, its priority and its status. When the service request is updated successfully, information is sent to the user via the Ivanti Identity Director web portal and/or e-mail.

Use Case 4: Close service request in IBM Maximo

This Ivanti Identity Director service enables a user to obtain a list of the current open service requests. From the open service requests list, a user can select a service request and close it. When the service request is closed successfully, information is sent to the user via the Ivanti Identity Director web portal and/or e-mail.
