CI Loan

Loan defined configuration items to customers for specified timeframe via incident records.

Overview

The CI Loan mApp provides functionality that allows you to loan defined Configuration Items (CIs) to customers for a specified timeframe via an Incident Record. The mApp is configured by selecting and defining CI types that are available to loan (i.e., Tablet); selecting specific CIs that are available to loan (i.e., Asset 4454); scheduling when and how often to check for overdue loans; and scheduling when and how often to record overdue loan transactions. After the mApp is configured, Users can loan a CI to a Customer via the Loan tab in an Incident's Form Arrangement, and then check in a loaned CI via the Loan tab in an Incident's Form Arrangement or via the Loan Dashboard.
