MS Word integration: Produce papers in your corporate design or any other specific layout you want.

Overview

This mApp is an integration with MS Word. It fills MS Word templates with data from Cherwell and then saves the resulting file in the formats .doc, .docx, .pdf, .html and .jpg. You can then save the resulting file directly as attachment to your Cherwell object or send them via email.

The mApp also manages the templates from within the Cherwell Rich Client. And of course, Word templates can be maintained, changed or added by authorized users and the creation of documents can be carried out event or batch triggered. The .doc / .docx documents obtained with their creation will reference their respective Cherwell object(s). Thus they can be edited with any Microsoft Word (2010 or higher, 32 and 64 bit) and keep the corresponding references to their Cherwell object.

The mApp also allows the merging of documents into large PDF files: Documents that were created via batch run can be automatically merged into one final PDF. If desired, watermarks and page numbers can be inserted.
