Use RES to schedule a meeting and generate an ICS file.
This sample contains ROID and ROA building blocks. The ROID service is a simple workflow that allows the requestor to schedule a meeting by selecting the following - Subject, Location, Description, Start Time, and End Time. The attributes are passed into a ROA runbook, and the runbook creates a ICS file in a designated temporary directory (%TEMP% by default).
This can be used in conjunction with other automation actions to automatically email the meeting to invitees. Consider a scenario using Delegated Administration in ROID to schedule meetings with the "Subscribers".
A great use case of this service would be at tradeshows, events or other meetings. The person demonstrating RES could schedule a meeting with the client automatically through the ROID workflow.
