SphereShield Secure Skype for Business with MobileIron

SphereShield (formerly SkypeShield) provides the ability to verify that only devices managed by MobileIron which are aligned with the security policy defined can access Skype for Business. It prevents connection from any other device, even of an employee, to connect to the companies infrastructure to avoid bypassing MobileIron security protection.

SkypeShield has integrated with a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Conditional Access Solution for Skype for Business, which is specifically designed to meet the security requirements of MobileIron EMM users.

SkypeShield leverages the MobileIron device owner identify to add another security factor to the authentication process. Based on this capability, SkypeShield now offers a no-password Single Sign On authentication by trusting the MobileIron identity for the authentication

Deployment can be done with or without an app depending on the usage and requirements

In addition SkypeShield offers DDoS / Account lockout protection, Dedicated Skype for Business firewall , Ethical wall for granular control and DLP for content inspection.
