Add Chat and forum capabilities to your Workspaces self service for Service Desk

This Design App allows Ivanti Service Desk customers to offer a Discussion forum and Chat service to their end user/customer community using a new module (Social) containing two new process designs in their Workspaces application. To add this ability in Web Access (Web Desk and Self Service) please see the Social Design App. Using Chat, Ivanti Service Desk customers can start a chat request to get first line support from an analyst and analysts can check the pending chat requests in real time to respond.

Using discussions, end users and analysts can create text conversations to discuss topics of their choice through a centralised online forum.

Both of these capabilities are delivered via custom processes, the creation of which is described, in detail in this document. Alternatively, you may import the necessary design from the Design Transfer file included with this design app pack.
